Cotton

Cotton is the wise choice for everyday wear. It is made in natural fibre extract from cotton plants, which helps reduce irritation caused and allergy reaction. Besides comfort, cotton is versatile, and it can create different garment functions such as workwear, smart casual, semi-formal wear, etc. Also, it is breathable during a sunny day, and it keeps warm in cold weather.

As fast fashion created mass pollution in recent years, more and more fashion companies started to re-evaluate material offering, and yes, we are part of it. A good quality cotton fabric has high tensile strength that created durable garments which can be worn multiple times or upcycled. Besides that, cotton fabric is biodegradable, and it can be dissolved naturally into the soil and revitalized into a new form to minimize landfill waste.

Wear comfortably and environmentally safe is the current trend for everyone. So TENCEL™ is the best choice that we can start investing in.

TENCEL™ is a biodegradable fibre made from regenerated cellulose that originates from the wood pulp. The wood pulp dissolves in water and organic solvent to form fibre, reducing 99% of wastewater and harmful gases. Indeed, you don’t have to worry about deforestation because the wood is from reliable and certified sources. TENCEL™ combines the strength of different fabrics, i.e., the comfort and breathability of cotton, the softness and texture of silk, the durability of polyester, and the aesthetic looks of wool. Not only that, TENCEL™ fabric will help to reduce the growth of odorous bacteria and prevent skin allergies. In addition, TENCEL™ drapes beautifully, and it doesn’t go to wrinkle quickly than other natural fabrics.

Linen

Linen is the most historical fibre used in making garments using natural plant flax, which can grow efficiently with minimum requirements. It is biodegradable and sustainable because its natural growing process needs very little water. It also has very few natural enemies, making the use of pesticides obsolete. Instead, the farmer relies on Mother Nature’s morning dew for the necessary moist during the retting process.

Most people will think of its rough and crisp surface when it comes to linen, not knowing that it is as breathable as cotton and lightweight. In addition, it has efficient moisture control that is suitable to wear during humid summer and cold weather. Besides, it is naturally pest resistance that you don’t have to worry about the moth damaging your beloved piece.

Solotex® is a new generation polyester which combines most of the pros of natural fibres. It has a spring-like, helical molecular structure that allow polyester fibre to mix well with other natural and synthetic fibre to form variety textures of fabric. The combination of fibre makes fabric more stretchable, breathable, soften, lighter and water resistance.

In term of sustainability, our first impression to polyester fibre will be “chemical sustain” and “harmful to the environment”. Although Solotex® is made of 37% plant-derived material and the rest is fossil-fuel derived material, it is a better choice of polyester fabric that helps to reduce greenhouse gases by mixing with natural fibre and its fibre is recyclable.

Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester redefines fashion's landscape by reusing discarded materials, offering a second life to post-consumer bottles or existing polyester. It minimizes environmental impact by preventing landfill and ocean pollution while conserving energy and reducing emissions. Retaining quality akin to virgin polyester with fewer resources, it boasts wrinkle resistance, durability, and quick-drying properties. This fabric aligns functionality with environmental responsibility, serving contemporary lifestyles and signaling a significant shift in fashion's sustainable evolution.
